Owner, Verlon Wulf, explains, “Everything starts and ends with the customer…if they have a good experience with our services, then we succeed. Our entire company works hard to make our customers’ experience hassle-free and enjoyable. I would describe our approach as customer-centric. From the time we answer the phone, to the tech that shows up in a uniform and clean truck, to a proper diagnosis and fix, to the final invoicing and payment, we want them to be comfortable.”

Given this philosophy, it is no surprise that in fifteen years, Carolina Cool has achieved tremendous growth up and down the Grand Strand.

Located in Surfside Beach, Carolina Cool always tries to stay one step ahead of the game in terms of diversity of service offerings. Friends in Verlon’s networking chapter of BNI continuously joke about “When he will start up another new division?” It has obviously worked, being one of the only “Full Service Mechanical Contractors” on the beach, providing 24-hour Heating, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Plumbing, Electrical, Solar, and Air Quality Service and Preventative Maintenance. Their Clean Air division specializes in indoor air quality and moisture control, and our Carolina Solar division was the first on the beach to offer simple efficient use of the sun.

Carolina Cooling & Plumbing, Inc. was formed in 1985 as a commercial, residential and industrial plumbing and air conditioning contracting firm. In 2006 they changed their name to Carolina Cool, Inc., to more fully reflect their broad range of mechanical services.

They have established an excellent reputation within the industry for performing very high quality work and for doing so in an extremely competitive environment. The entire staff, be it plumbing and pipefitting craftsmen, project managers, engineering, purchasing, service and repair, or management is made up of skilled people with many years of experience.

Carolina Cool has received many commendations including, being voted “Best of The Beach” for eight years running and receiving the “Reader’s Choice” award for ten years running. The success that Carolina Cool has enjoyed is, to a large degree, attributable to a strong dedication to providing our customers with high quality, reliable service. They pride themselves in having many repeat customers.
